Step One - Scribing the Seeds On thirteen separate pieces of paper, write and fold thirteen wishes for the year ahead. Let them be honest, hopeful, and softly worded.

Step Two - Choosing What You Release. Place all thirteen wishes into a bowl. From them, intuitively select twelve and tuck them carefully into a pinecone, one by one. (The wishes are rolled so you can't see) The remaining wish stays outside the pinecone, this one you keep close.

Step Three - Offering to the Flame. In a safe space, burn the pinecone. You may use a cauldron and charcoal disc, a fireplace, or an outdoor fire where it is safe and permitted. As the pinecone burns, imagine the twelve wishes lifting gently with the smoke, released, loosened, and offered to the wider universe.

Step Four - Now you discover which wish remains!!! The One You Carry, The single wish left behind is yours to nurture. This is the wish you walk toward, tend to, and take small earthly steps to support. You are not meant to control the whole year, only to show up where you can. These wishes are now out of your hands. They may unfold in unexpected ways, change shape, arrive slowly, or not in way you thought, and that is okay. What is meant to find you will do so in its own time.
